A well-known singer brought his daughter on stage to duet his most popular track from the 2000’s.
Even if you weren’t a fan of the star back in the day, you likely heard this song flood the radio decades ago.



Singer and guitarist James Morrison, 41, is currently on his which kicked off last month in the UK.
He’s in the middle of promoting his upcoming album of the same name that’s due to drop on October 3rd.

Now nearly two decades since its release in 2008, James brought his daughter Elsie onto the stage in to sing Nelly’s lines.
The heartfelt duet was posted onto James’s official Instagram channel.
The pretty young blonde sang confidently, mic in hand, often closing her eyes while delivering the emotional lyrics.
She wore a simple black mini dress and blazer for the gig, matching her father’s black jacket.
Fans of James were delighted to hear how talented Elsie is, praising her vocal ability and remarking on how she’s following in her father’s footsteps.
“Like father, like daughter. Amazing duo!,” commented one user.
Others agreed, sharing: “What a wonderful duet, how proud you must be of your talented daughter,” and “Elsie is absolutely stunning, and her voice is incredible.”
It appears this isn’t the first time James has brought Elsie out for the popular song on his tour, as a number of fans were praising her vocals during his show in Glasgow Sec Armadillo, too.
“She was magic in Glasgow last night. We loved the show,” one fan spoke of the duet on the previous date of the tour.
Viewers of the clip also said her mother would have been so proud of her that night, watching her from up above.
Last year James’s partner and Elsie’s mother Gill Catchpole, 45, was in their family home in Whitminster, Gloucestershire.
Her and James met when he was only 17, before his rise to fame.
She was 23 at the time and had a boyfriend called John, but after they called it quits her and James’s love began to blossom.
The pair got engaged in 2012 and they were together for almost two decades.
A shared love of music deepened their bond as Gill’s father was also a musician.
James later shared that Gill was not just his first love, but also the only .
