HUW WARE told security to eject any troublemakers after whistling threatened to overshadow a blockbuster clash at the European Darts Grand Prix.

was forced into action during the second-round battle between Dave Chisnall and , with persistent whistling and jeering causing disruption inside the Glaspalast arena.

At the time, Chisnall held a narrow 3-2 lead as tensions rose among the fans in Sindelfingen, Germany.

In a dramatic moment, Ware marched to the edge of the stage, dropped to one knee and delivered a crystal-clear warning to security.

He said: “Ladies and Gentlemen I just told security if you carry on whistling please do, but you’ll be thrown out the venue immediately!”

But the match itself was never officially stopped, with Ware quickly returning to his calling position to keep things moving.
