THREE of darts’ most prominent players ended up enjoying a kebab instead of boarding their flight after missing it.

Stephen Bunting and Nathan Aspinall found themselves stranded when their plane departed without them.

So the trio did what many Brits do when abroad and headed straight for a kebab on a Monday morning.

A photo shared on Instagram captured the stars grinning as they held up their meat wraps, while chips and drinks were scattered across the table.

The playful caption read: “When your flight leaves without you. Only one thing to do on a Monday morning. KEBAB 😁”

This comes after all three had forgettable campaigns in the 2026 tournament, each suffering unexpected defeats.

Aspinall exited in the third round after a nail-biting 4-3 loss to Kevin Doets.

Bunting faced a similar fate at the same stage, falling 4-3 in a thrilling match against James Hurrell.

Humphries lasted longer but faced a surprising defeat in the quarter-finals, losing 5-1 to the Dutch star.

Van Veen enjoyed a remarkable run all the way to the final.

However, he ultimately met the dominant force of the champion, who defeated him 7-1 to retain his title.

Littler, still only 18, claimed the Championship for the second consecutive year, solidifying his status as the face of darts.

Littler reflected on his victory by saying: “The first time was so great, I had to do it again.”

For Humphries, Bunting, and Aspinall, though, the priority shifted from trophies to garlic sauce and extra fries after their flight left them behind.
