DARTS fans were left in stitches when Chris Dobey briefly turned into a disappearing act during his defeat to Gian van Veen.
The , 36, was battling for a spot in the Players Championship 29 semi-finals.
But Dobey’s showdown with took a shock twist when he casually walked off the stage.
After leaving 194 points still on the board, he strolled away and briefly vanished as his rival closed in on winning the third leg.
Van Veen then went on to complete a 104 checkout before world No15 returned to the oche.
To make the situation even more baffling, the man nicknamed Hollywood then racked up a 180 as he got the next leg underway.
And stunned fans raced onto social media after Dobey’s unexpected mid-match wander.
One said: “This has to be the best darts video of the month. So casual hahaha.”
Another added: “ treating a quarter-final like a smoke break. Van Veen’s stood there waiting while Hollywood’s off doing his own warm-up.”
A third chimed in: “He literally stepped outside the game.”
