A post appeared on Monday stating that Skelton’s Supreme Novices’ Hurdle and Formby favorite, Mydaddypaddy, was out for the season.

The post, originating from an account named ‘Divock origi’, claimed that the prominent horse had sustained a ‘season-ending injury’.

“I’m very pleased with him, and he has been declared.
“I would like to clarify yesterday’s false news regarding his injury.
“An account with only two followers posted something that was frankly ridiculous, leading to several problems, both professionally and causing distress to the owners.
“Please use this platform responsibly, everyone.
“I do not wish to be caught up in unnecessary disputes regarding the health of horses.
“I will provide everyone with the truthful news as soon as I can.
“Mydaddypaddy was perfectly fine yesterday, yet people were misled by an account with two followers.
“Can we all agree that professionals will share the real news as soon as it becomes available?
“Please avoid listening to these misleading accounts.”
