The horrific bloodbath unfolded in the city’s Pico-Union neighbourhood at around 12.49pm on Sunday, October 11.

Cops rushed to the junction of Venice Boulevard and Catalina Street following reports of gunfire.

Officers discovered both boys suffering from gunshot wounds alongside their dad, 35, who had an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

All three were rushed to hospital by paramedics, but despite desperate efforts to save them, the brothers were pronounced dead.

Their dad survived the shooting and remains under police guard while receiving treatment in hospital.

Although cops have not officially named the suspect, devastated relatives identified him as Adolfo Gramajo, 35.

The youngsters had reportedly been spending time with their dad during a custody visit and had stopped at McDonald’s shortly before the horrific attack.

What should have been an ordinary afternoon with their dad ended in a double killing that has left their family shattered.

Investigators have yet to establish what sparked the deadly rampage.

Police confirmed they are not hunting any other suspects and insisted there is no continuing threat to the public.

Heartbroken relatives and friends have since paid tribute to the innocent brothers as their community reels from the tragedy.

A family friend told Los Angeles: “They never did anything wrong to anyone. They were always happy, never wanted to hurt anyone. They were innocent.”

Flowers, candles and balloons were laid near the blood-soaked scene as mourners gathered to remember the two young victims.

The LAPD’s Juvenile Division is investigating the brothers’ deaths as a double homicide.
