Eberechi Eze fired the hosts ahead from the spot in the 60th minute, which sparked the game into life.

The penalty was awarded after Matz Selz was judged to have fouled Tyrick Mitchell in the box.

However, the lead did not last long as Murillo’s deft flick deflected Neco Williams’ strike into the top corner only four minutes later.

Palace came closest to the next goal as Eddie Nketiah had an effort ruled out for offside while Eze struck the bar.

Despite the game running for over 100 minutes due to late stoppages, neither side could find a winner.

The draw saw Forest lose ground on their Champions League rivals.

Palace are now just four points shy of breaking the 50-point barrier in the Premier League for the first time ever.
