A tight ending to Group L expected now, with both Croatia and Ghana in a battle for higher finishing points.

Both sides struggled to 1-0 wins over Panama so it maybe shouldn’t be a guarantee that England win that game comfortably.

As a result of the goalless draw with the Three Lions the other night, Ghana are in second spot going into this one and a goal behind England, potentially with their eyes on top spot.

Failing that, a point here confirms second spot as they hold an advantage over Croatia going into this one.

Things could’ve been a whole lot better for the Ghanians had they not been denied a stonewall penalty from an Ezri Konsa tackle.

They should be tough to beat once again and Croatia have a tough task to get the crucial three points to go through as a top two side.

Croatia did well for spells in the defeat to England on the opening day before stuttering to a 1-0 win over Panama – a similar result to what Ghana produced in their opening game.
