CRISTIANO RONALDO submitted his CV and a 2,000-word statement as part of his response to Portugal’s FA for the charge of leaving the national team camp after his row with manager Jorge Jesus.

Ronaldo, 41, had an intense falling out with Jesus, 72, in the most recent international break after being left on the bench in the Nations League match against Norway in Oslo.

The Al-Nassr superstar then demanded showdown talks with the Portuguese tactician on Wednesday that included the national team’s FA president Pedro Proenca.

But the star forward walked out on the training camp later and flew back to Madrid via private jet as he insisted Jesus went back on his word twice.

The Portugal captain went into detail in a on social media in which he claimed he signed off on an eight-point statement his manager would issue as part of a public apology that was never read out.

According to Sky Sports , Ronaldo was asked to provide evidence that would be considered as mitigating circumstances after he was charged.

And the icon handed in his CV that included all the major trophies he won across his glittering 24-year career.

That included three Premier League titles, the FA Cup, two LaLiga trophies, two Copa Del Rey cups, two Serie A honours, five Champions Leagues and Euro 2016.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner ended up as he was fined a measly £215 – a fee he earns in just 30 seconds thanks to his astronomical £225.5million annual wages.

The legend was also issued with a 30-day suspension, which will expire before Portugal’s next game against Denmark on November 14.

The Portuguese FA’s ruling states: “In relation to the mitigating circumstances of having rendered significant services to football and receiving recognition for sporting merit, the defendant submitted his sporting CV, including the awards and honours he received during his career (pages 126 to 128 of the case file).”

Ronaldo has apologised to fans for failing to acknowledge supporters and for leaving his team-mates after the match in Norway.

The ex-Juventus star said he remains available for selection after serving whatever punishment.

And Jesus insisted there was no issue between the pair despite their public and intense row.
