CRISTIANO RONALDO celebrated in Ivan Toney’s face as tensions erupted in their first meeting since the Englishman questioned the principles of Saudi officiating.
At the final whistle, the Portuguese star humbled as beat 2-0 in the Saudi Pro League.

Following the second goal, , 41, was spotted joining a group of players celebrating.
And Toney, 30, appeared to receive some special attention.
Tensions boiled over again at the end of full-time after a foul by Al-Nassr’s triggered a brawl of around ten players.
Toney’s Al-Ahli teammate Galeno had suggested that the league only wanted “one person” to lift the trophy.
But Ronaldo has not claimed the title since arriving in the Middle East in 2022.
This season, Al-Nassr are 11 points clear of second-place, having won 20 consecutive games.
And with only FOUR games left to secure the championship – it seems like this may be the season for Ronaldo’s side.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Ronaldo defended the league, sayind: “I see many bad things. Many players complain, speak about referees, post on social media.
“This is NOT the goal of the Saudi Pro League.
“We should stop this if we want to compete with the best European leagues.”
Earlier this April, Toney had said he was unhappy with his Saudi side being denied at least two pens after a 1-1 draw against Al-Fayha.
While the former star chose not to name Al-Nassr but said in his post-match interview: “We know who. Who are we chasing?”

Ronaldo now has 970 career goals for club and country under his belt with 126 goals in all competitions for Al-Nassr.
But the ex-Real Madrid and Man Utd icon will be chasing even more with Toney being two goals ahead in the league this campaign.
Al-Ahli have ONE more game to play to prove themselves, but do not realistically look to be in the title race.
