CRISTIANO RONALDO was spotted refusing to swap shirts with Dominik Sbozoslai after Portugal’s World Cup qualifier with Hungary – although there was more to the snub than met the eye.

Like many players who come up against , Liverpool midfielder Sbozoslai was eager to get his hands on the footie icon’s shirt after the final whistle on Tuesday night.

Szoboszlai gave his shirt to Cristiano after the game, but Ronaldo had already swapped his. He promised to return the favor in Portugal next month. 👏🔜

He waited outside of Portugal‘s dressing room to give CR7 his match shirt in the hope of getting one in return.

But he was left disappointed when Ronaldo informed him he’d already given it away.

Five-time winner Ronaldo instantly showed his class by promising his shirt in next month’s return qualifier.

He said: “I’ll give you my home [shirt], for sure. In , okay?”

Footage of the pair’s exchange, which ended in a warm embrace, went viral.

After seeing the video, one footie fan said: “When you meet your idol.”

Another said: “Goat given his word. He will do it.”

And another said: “That’s pure class from both of them.

Portugal ran out 3-2 winners in the Group F qualifier thanks to goals from Bernardo Silva, Joao Cancelo and a second-half penalty from Ronaldo.
