Yesterday, they faced defeat after the match ended in less than two days in Perth.

However, the Manchester teenager told The Sun on Sunday: “The performance won’t deter me.

“I am eager to get there and see England win.”

Tommy has already spent £4,000 on trains, buses, and cars to navigate through Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, and is currently in Laos.

He has no set plans for the 3,000-mile journey from Singapore to Australia, stating: “I might take a cargo ship or work on a yacht if I can find one heading that way.”

Meanwhile, there was disappointment for fans Sarah Harriman and Kev Hann.

After three weeks of vacation in Australia, they arrived yesterday only to find out the match was already over.

Sarah, 57, from Hereford, expressed: “This was our only day of cricket—we're both huge supporters.

“It’s our dream trip. We’re devastated.”
