CRAVITY’s Seongmin will no longer be attending the Seoul Music Awards next week after sustaining a rib injury.
On June 13, STARSHIP Entertainment announced that Seongmin had recently injured his rib after an unexpected physical collision with another member during a shoot. After being examined at the hospital, Seongmin was advised by a doctor that he “needs to refrain from excessive movement”; for the time being.
As a result, Seongmin will be sitting out CRAVITY’s performance at the upcoming Seoul Music Awards on June 21. He will also be limiting his participation in group activities that require choreography by “minimizing his movement.”;

We would like to sincerely thank the fans who always give CRAVITY their unsparing love and support.
We are making an announcement regarding our artist Seongmin’s health and future schedule.
During a recent shoot, Seongmin unexpectedly physically collided with another member and was immediately taken to the hospital to be examined. After being closely examined by a doctor, he was diagnosed with a rib injury, and he is currently focusing on his treatment.
Although Seongmin himself is very determined to diligently participate in his scheduled activities, the doctor has advised that at present, before he recovers from his injury, he needs to refrain from excessive movement.
Therefore, he will not be participating in [CRAVITY’s] performance at the upcoming Seoul Music Awards on June 21, and he will be minimizing his movement in future performances or shoots that require choreography.As this decision was made because we consider our artist’s health our top priority, we ask for the fans’ generous and warmhearted understanding.
We will do our utmost to help Seongmin recover as soon as possible so that he can meet his fans again in good health.
