IF you fancy heading to Costa del Cheltenham in 2027, look no further.
A little over 1,000 miles away in Benidorm the beer is cheaper, the sun is out, and the big-screen atmosphere is second to none.

Early-bird offers for Benidorm 2027
Forget the umbrellas and the mud of Gloucestershire; the real roar of the 2027 is heading to the Mediterranean.
fans from the UK are increasingly trading the Cotswolds for the Costa Blanca, turning Benidorm into a vibrant Costa del Cheltenham.
Hotel bookings soared an incredible 225 per cent for 2026 and it’s become a hotter ticket than itself.
While traditionalists at the racecourse face the prospect of £7.50 pints of and hour-long queues for the loos, the smart money is heading to the Costa Blanca.

As well as forking out £7.50 for a Guinness in Cheltenham, burgers cost £12, and a ticket for the day will be somewhere between £47 and £180.
But in Benidorm, it’s £1.70 for a pint, burgers are around £6 and entry to most of the bars are free – and many have jumbo screens showing every single race.
If you are a paying punter, many feel that they are now being priced out of Cheltenham and many other big race days as prices continue to soar under the crisis.
Lucy Young, known on social media as The Benidorm Enthusisast, says the trip is a “no-brainer” for cost-conscious Brits.
She said: “You can probably do the four days here in Benidorm with flights, accommodation and booze spends for what it costs you to attend one day at the actual Cheltenham Festival.
“And you’ve got a much better chance of some good weather here — it’s a no-brainer for many.”
Travel experts estimate that up to 40,000 Brits flew out to Benidorm for the 2026 Festival.
And that number is expected to grow again in 2027.
But don’t worry – because our travel partners have come up with a couple of Benidorm bankers.
