THE Coronation Street cast have been left fuming at having been made to arrange and pay for their own summer party.
The stars of the soap have had to come together to organise their own private event as a result of cash-strapped ITV refusing to host a bash for them.

It means the cast and crew on the show have had to organise the event as well as foot the bill themselves.
The Sun understands that in order to be let into the event, the cast need to pay an entry fee of £22.24.
Once inside the venue, they will also have to splash out for their own drinks with a “full bar service” to purchase drinks on the evening.
But the fact they have been left to fend for themselves has left some of them unhappy.
One source told The Sun: “The cast aren’t best pleased about having to do their own party.
“They have had to plan and pay for everything themselves.
“It is annoying for them that despite being one of the biggest TV productions in the country that they can’t have a celebration laid out for them.
“A few of the cast have been rolling their eyes behind-the-scenes.”
Only those cast members willing to pay will attend with the stars being under no obligation to be at the bash.
The ITV soap has been hit by extensive budget cuts in recent years.
Money on the programme is understood to have been slashed which has resulted in various different cast axings in order to save costs.
