CORONATION Street actress Amy Cudden has revealed her time in Weatherfield is over as she confirms she has quit the soap in an emotional post.
The actress’ character Becky Swain has been wreaking havoc on the lives of ex-wife ever since she turned up on the cobbles last September.

Taking to , actress Amy penned a heartfelt message where she revealed she was leaving .
“That’s a wrap on Becky Swain… I’m so grateful to have had this opportunity,” she wrote.
“@gusgallagher1980 you are the most generous and loving partner to have taken on everything so I could up sticks and bugger off for six months to have the best time on the best job. I love you’ she began.

BACK FROM THE DEAD
Amy’s character Becky was in September, four years after being killed by a getaway car while working in the line of duty.
Following her supposed death, ex-wife Lisa and her daughter Betsy moved to Weatherfield and she struck up a romance with Carla.
In scenes that aired in September, Becky reappeared and was very much alive, much to the shock of her ex-wife.
She’s since caused chaos by using her return to tear up Lisa’s relationship with Carla, as well as making Lisa and her daughter Betsy believe they’re in danger and trying to get them to move to with her.
Her reign of terror went a step further when she attacked her former police boss, DI Costello in a bid to stop him from revealing the truth about her fake death, which he had helped her carry out.
However, when he finally woke up from his coma, he alerted Carla to being his attacker and gave her a cryptic clue in the form of “Rhubarb Hill”.

Becky then attempted to Kill Costello in the hospital with a syringe to prevent him from being able to expose her.
Things eventually came to a head during the hotly-anticipated , which aired earlier this year.
After all of her antics, and she was charged with or kidnapping Carla, theft, GBH, and other crimes.
On Monday night’s episode Becky’s fate was revealed and she was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
