A TEENAGE boy has gone missing in a lake as cops frantically search for him.
The boy, 15, is reported to have got into difficultly after entering the water at a nature reserve.
Cops were called to Swanholme Lakes in Lincoln this afternoon at 2.30pm.
However, after emergency services conducted an extensive search, the boy has not yet been found.
The police are continuing to search the lake, and their Under Water Search Team are assisting with this.
In a statement Lincolnshire Police have asked people to not speculate until they have more information to share on the boy’s whereabouts.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We have informed the family of the boy and our thoughts are with them at this incredibly difficult time.
“It is vitally important that people do not speculate or share information that is not accurate.
“Information that the boy has been found at this time is wrong. We will update our information when we can.”
