POLICE have issued an urgent appeal following the disappearance of a woman, expressing concern for her safety.

Amelia Murton was last spotted at approximately 5 PM yesterday in the village of Weavering, Kent.

Kent Police stated: “We are seeking assistance to locate a missing woman from Maidstone.

“Amelia Murton was last seen in the Bearsted Road area of Weavering at around 5 PM on Wednesday, October 1st.

“It is believed she may be wearing a grey hooded top with wide tassels, light-colored trousers, a burgundy coat, and a white beanie hat.

“Our officers are worried about Amelia’s well-being and are encouraging anyone who may have seen her to reach out.
