ARMED police turned up to a house with a chainsaw following reports of screaming and gunshots heard from inside a property.
Coppers arrived at the address in Essex at around 3:35pm last Saturday.

But to the surprise of officers, the sound of gunshots and people screaming was from someone playing the shooter video game, , on a loud sound system.
An Essex Police spokesperson said: “We were called with concerns a person may have been injured with a firearm at an address in Way at about 3.35pm on Saturday 18 April.
“Armed officers quickly attended the scene with the support of emergency service colleagues and confirmed no firearms were present and no one had sustained any injuries.”
Concerned residents called 999 on 18 April after hearing what sounded like gunshots and someone shouting “I’ve been shot”.
Armed were dispatched to the house in Southend alongside other emergency service colleagues.
An Air Ambulance was flown into the area and landed nearby to assist officers if urgent medical treatment was needed.
Officers approached the property with their weapons and a chainsaw prepared to storm the premises.
But upon their arrival, they discovered that there were no firearms present or anyone injured.
The sounds that alarmed residents to call the police had come from gunfire effects and shouted phrases from Call of Duty.
It is not the first time armed police have been deployed to a false alarm.

Officers in Salford, Manchester, swarmed a man wearing a black vest who they thought was a “suicide bomber”, reported The Telegraph .
outside of a gym with a helicopter circling above him.
The area was full of officers with their weapons drawn out while the suspect sat on his knees with his hands on his head.
It was later discovered that the dark vest that he was wearing was a weighted gym vest.
The man was also found to have a skipping rope on him which he used while exercising in the outdoor gym.
Greater Manchester Police later confirmed the incident had been a false alarm.
