The Notorious has broken his silence on his apparent removal from the UFC roster

The post sent shockwaves throughout the MMA world, with fans aghast at McGregor’s apparent departure from the UFC .

But in a brief chat with veteran reporter Ariel Helwani, he denied no longer being with the promotion.

Helwani wrote on X: “ Conor McGregor HAS NOT parted ways with the UFC.

“Both @TheNotoriousMMA and his team confirmed this to me.”

McGregor, 37, took a major step to returning to the octagon last month by re-entering the UFC’s drug testing pool and submitting a sample to them.

And his first test has come back negative for any banned substances.

Helwani added: “He also confirmed he is back in the pool, has submitted tests and all have come back clean. ‘It’s all systems a go,’ he said.”

UFC supremo Dana White also chimed in on the report of McGregor being removed from the promotion’s roster.
