And he has now lifted the lid on details of his latest role on Twitter when probed by fans.

On the length of the docuseries, McGregor said: “Series. 4 part. I have just completed executive production of the first episode. It is riveting.”

He has been ruled out of fighting until 2023, having undertaken his first Hollywood role.

McGregor is starring in a reboot of Patrick Swayze’s 1989 classic Roadhouse, alongside Jake Gyllenhaal.

And he claimed his Netflix series will be fully unveiled before his debut on the big screen is released.

McGregor posted: “This documentary will be out before my next fight, episode 1, of 4.

“And the full 4 will be out before my Hollywood debut in the notorious “roadhouse”.
