CONNOR BENN showed off a huge 32lbs gain just hours after weighing in at 146lbs ahead of his bout with Ryan Garcia.

However fans have been left unconvinced.

Ahead of his , which takes place in Las Vegas tonight, Benn had dropped to the welterweight limit in order to fight for his WBC world title.

But hours after , a video began to circulate with a set of scales displaying 178.4lbs, with reports suggesting he has rehydrated to that weight.

Despite the supposed major gain, fans are not convinced with Benn’s antics.

One wrote: “I can’t believe you guys are falling for this like children. He clearly set the scale 10 or 15 pounds higher without showing the 0 and stood to play mind games. Come on, guys.”

A second said: “Who actually believes this bs 30 pounds in 12 hours since the morning weigh in…”

While a third added: “2 and a half stone in a matter of hours? Yeh didn’t happen.”

While Benn did complete an insane 34lb cut in order to take the fight, fans don’t believe he’s put almost all of it back on just hours afterwards.

was first on the scales at 9.01am – 10mins before American Garcia scaled in at 145lb in Sin City – and looked dehydrated but determined as he even sneaked in 1lb under at 146lb.

Ryan Garcia will make the first defence of his WBC welterweight title against British superstar Conor Benn THIS Saturday.

The blockbuster Las Vegas event is under the arm of Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing promotion.

Garcia, 28, captured his first world title in February by securing a dominant unanimous decision victory over Mario Barrios.

Benn, 29, is challenging for a world title for the first time in his professional career.

His sole professional defeat came against domestic rival Chris Eubank Jr in April 2025, a loss he quickly avenged with a dominant unanimous decision victory in their November 2025 rematch.

Benn enters the biggest bout of his life following a decisive points win over former world champion Regis Prograis in April, which marked his debut under Zuffa Boxing.
