The fiery encounter got away at furious speed with a barrage of punches thrown by both fighters in the first round – but few landed.
Benn fired some words at his opponent after the first round, with plenty of bad blood shown by the pair ahead of the clash.
The same happened after rounds two and three, all of which went Benn's way.
Eubank turned things around from the fourth round, and began to hurt Benn with his jab.
The contest appeared to be all square after six rounds and was too close to call before a heavy eighth round involved an all-out slugfest.
Eubank Jr then suffered a nasty gash above his right eye after a clash of heads in the ninth round.
From that point he looked in trouble and Benn caused him problems with punches to the body.
