The Commissioner of Police, Imo State Command, Audu Garba Bosso, has paid his first official courtesy visit to Eze Imo, HRH Eze Dr. E.C. Okeke, and members of the State Council of Traditional Rulers at the Eze’s Palace, Obi Eze Imo in Owerri.

The visit is part of the CP’s strategic engagement with critical stakeholders following his assumption of duty.

Addressing the monarchs, CP Bosso emphasized the important role of Police-Community partnership in strengthening security architecture across the State.

He acknowledged the influence of traditional institutions in grassroots mobilization and intelligence gathering, describing them as indispensable partners in the fight against crime.

The Commissioner sought the fatherly blessings of Eze Imo and solicited the continued cooperation and support of the Council in advancing effective community policing initiatives.

He added that the visit would undoubtedly strengthen the security partnership between the monarchs and the State Police Command in deepening community security consciousness among rural dwellers.

In his response, the royal father commended CP Bosso for his already visible and action-oriented approach within his few days in office.

He noted that the immediate past Commissioner of Police recorded remarkable successes through strong collaboration with the Traditional Rulers Council and urged the CP to sustain and deepen that synergy.

Eze Imo assured the Commissioner of the Council’s unwavering support and offered prayers for a successful and impactful tenure in office.
