A BIZARRE incident took place during the third frame of the World Snooker Championship final that had the match commentator fuming.
Match official Rob Spencer called a premature end to play in the tussle between and Wu Yize.

The Magician let the first two frames slip away and after a series of shots failed to get him the required errors he needed from Wu, he was forced to pot balls left over pockets by his opponent.
That left only the pink and black left to play with and after failing to get a snooker, bagged one of his own to effectively bring an end to the frame.
Wu was left to pot the second highest scoring ball, which was met with applause from the crowd and the match official calling the frame.
The 22-year-old was not done there however, as the black was still on the table and available to go for to end the frame.
