Bayern Munich manager, Vincent Kompany has provided the latest update on Jamal Musiala after the midfielder sustained a leg injury during their FIFA Club World Cup quarter-final defeat to Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday.

Recall that goals from Desire Doue and Ousmane Dembele gave PSG the victory against Bayern Munich.

Musiala picked a leg injury during the encounter as he was stretchered off with Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Speaking after the game, Kompany said that Musiala will get the best medical treatment, adding that the Germany international might have sustained an ankle injury.

“The situation with Jamal was very emotional. We all saw what happened and it didn’t look good,”; Kompany said at his post-match interview.

“We hope it is not as bad as it looked, and we hope everything goes well and he received the best medical treatment.

“From just watching the images, it looks like an ankle injury of some sort, but I’m not going to make a diagnosis.”;
