Benn’s world title dream was of their Sin City showdown.

‘The Destroyer’, 29, was dropped by a peach of a right hand early into the second stanza.
He beat the standing eight count that followed, but couldn’t fend off the ensuing hellfire rained down on him – prompting referee Thomas Taylor to wave off the contest.
Benn’s first fight at welterweight in FOUR YEARS was attended by bitter family rival , whom he fought twice last year.
And the ‘Next Gen’ couldn’t help but see the irony in Benn being stopped after having to cut weight.
He wrote on X: “Welcome to the ’fighting after cutting too much weight’ club… Enjoy.”
Eubank Jr had to boil himself down to 160lbs for his pair of cross-generational bouts with Benn last year.
He missed weight for their first fight by the narrowest of margins, but came under the contracted limit for their rematch.
Victory over Benn marked Garcia’s first defence of the WBC’s 147lbs crown.

He said in his post-fight interview: “I have always had the right hand.
“But I carried a lot of injuries, so I couldn’t really show it.
“I know people question my Mexican heritage because I don’t speak Spanish.
“But I always feel my people with me and I do it for them. Teofimo Lopez can get it next.
“I want to clean the division out. I want Devin Haney’s ass again, too.”
