On Saturday the son of a true boxing legend will head in for a grudge rematch against – himself born from sporting royalty.

against his bitter foe when they clashed in April at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
It came at some cost however. afterwards suffering from dehydration after boiling down to a catchweight.
Now the pair will do it all over again. And for it’s another chance to add to his legion of fans, with his life outside of the sport as interesting as it is in it.

At Home with the Eubanks
is a sporting Hall of Famer, so it didn’t come as a surprise when TV crews decided to get involved in the man outside the ring.
In 2003 Channel 5 commissioned a reality TV show, At Home with the Eubanks to find out just how the maverick and his family lived.
And in it featured a fresh-faced 13-year-old Eubank Jr.

But there was a real heart-warming moment in one episode where, with the help of Lennox Lewis, Eubank Jr convinced his dad to let him ‘try boxing’.

Eubank Jr, 36, and splits his time between the south coast of England and the Middle East.

His last fight was in March 2019, and had been working as a personal trainer in Dubai at the time of his death.
And unsurprisingly Chris Jr found it the most impossible of things to deal with.

“My brother, who I was very close with, I just thank God he had a son just before he passed away and now he lives on via his son.

Secret girlfriend and becoming dad
Eubank Jr has kept his other half well and truly away from the cameras, flashing lights and drama that his lifestyle brings.
Nothing is known outside of his inner circle about his partner, when and how they met, or where she is from.
But the Brighton bruiser did share the most intimate of personal details just days before the grudge rematch – .

In a video shared by BBC Sport, Eubank Snr could barely contain his excitement as he said, “Rastafari reach” and was seen fist pumping the air and cheering.
He continued: “Oh wow.”
Taking to the comments under the post, Eubank Jr said: “So yes many of you guessed it.
“I will soon be joining the dad gang.
“Only difference is I’ll joining as a father of two! Twin boys!!
“I’m so grateful for such a blessing and I will do my absolute best to give them the happiest upbringing I possibly can… just like my old man did for me.”
In an interview on Diary of a CEO with Steven Bartlett , Jr hinted that becoming a father was a likely step.
Talking about the love he has for his brother Sebastian’s son Raheem, he said: “It makes me want to have my own son.
“I mean, Raheem is my son, but biologically I want to have my own son now because I love who I am and how I feel when I am around him.”

Father and son reunited
The build-up to Jr’s big fight against was dominated by background noise – notably his own father slamming the bout.
He wanted it to be called off, having to boil down from 180lb to 160lb.
In the days before the fight, : “Junior is now 35 and trying to get down to 160lb and I know what that feels like. I know about the dehydration and the damage it does to fighters.”

When asked his opinion on promoters appearing to put money over safety, Sr said: “They take no interest in the lives of the fighter, it is irresponsible.
“They are going to end up landing themselves in a lawsuit.
“The safety of boxers is number one.”
Sr also insisted he would NOT be attending the scrap.
But in April, those at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and watching TV at home were left stunned.
A Rolls Royce pulled up backstage, and the pair of them clambered out – leaving fans whooping in delight.
Despite the public show of father-son unity, .
Speaking to the Mail , he said: “It’s not been easy. It’s not an overnight thing.
“People might think, well, he came to the fight and now they’re all lovey again. No, it’s not that.
