The star appeared at Southwark Crown Court today and has been granted conditional bail.

The two-time Grammy winner was set to kick off his 20-year anniversary tournextmonth.

This includes two nights at theLive stadium in Manchester before performances in, London,andin June.

But it has now been thrown into doubt.

The 36-year-old appeared at Manchester Magistrates Court on Friday charged with one count of grievous bodily harm.

The court heard how Brown allegedly struck Diaw “several times”;; with a bottle before chasing him across the bar then punching and kicking him alongside another person.

The alleged attack was captured on CCTV in a club “full of people”;;, it was said.

District Judge Joanne Hirst said the case was “too serious”;; to be dealt with in her court.

The Met said in a previous statement: ‘’A 36-year-old man was arrested at a hotel in Manchester shortly after 02:00hrs on Thursday, 15 May on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.

‘’He has been taken into custody where he remains.

“The arrest relates to an incident at a venue in Hanover Square on 19 February 2023.

‘’Theis being led by detectives from the Central West Area Basic Command Unit.’’

The Sun’s Brand and Culture expert, Nick Ede, has suggested the incident casts doubt over the R&B superstar’s upcoming tour.

He said: “The incident happened in 2023 but with this new publicity overshadowing his tour, his team may feel that they have to cancel.

“This would be a massive blow for his fans and also to Brown himself.

“The gigs he is playing are some of his biggest ever including thestadium for two nights to over 62,000 people each night.”;;
