DOWN on his hands and knees, this is the moment a British doctor accused of murder is seen wiping up a mystery liquid – alleged to be blood – in the corridor outside an apartment.
CCTV footage captured struck-off medic , 46, creeping out of the flat in Bogota, Colombia, belonging to stunning model Natalia Villalba, 36, whose dismembered body was later found stuffed into a suitcase.
The footage seemingly shows the disgraced doctor, originally from Poole, , checking in with reception at the upmarket residential block for an arranged rendezvous with the graphic designer before allegedly carrying out .
In dramatic video the suspect can be seen cautiously peering out of Natalia’s rented seventh-floor apartment.
He then emerges carrying several bin bags which prosecutors claim contained blood-soaked bed sheets and other items, before hurling them down a rubbish chute at the end of the hallway.
The footage seemingly shows the suspect wearing a completely different pair of trousers to the ones he arrived in just two hours earlier.
Minutes later, he is seen on all fours frantically scrubbing a mystery liquid – believed to be blood – from the floor.
Stunning graphic designer Natalia died after being hit over the head with a heavy object.
Convicted stalker Foster-Smith, currently being held in a hellhole jail after , allegedly stuffed her body parts in a suitcase before leaving the blood-soaked luggage under a running shower in an apparent bid to wash away clues.
The suspect was arrested at Quito International Airport in after leaving Colombia a day before the brunette’s body was found at the end of June.
Incredibly, Foster-Smith contacted The Sun hours before his arrest and after an Interpol Red Notice was issued for him.
In a phone call to our London offices he insisted: “It wasn’t me. I was watching England in the on a big screen in an Irish bar so it wasn’t me.”
He claimed he was scoffing on a burger and Diet Cokes while cheering on the Three Lions as they beat Croatia at the World Cup.
The murder victim is believed to have been killed on June 18, four days before she was discovered in her rented seventh-floor apartment in Bogota.
After his arrest Foster-Smith was remanded in custody and has already been warned he faces a prison sentence of up to 50 years if convicted.
Shortly after Natalia’s body was discovered, Ariel Cortes, the director of Colombia’s National Forensic Medicine Institute, spoke about the disturbing post-mortem results.
He said: “We have already handed over the results of the post-mortem to public prosecutors.
“Natalia Villalba died from blunt trauma caused by a blow to the head and then she was placed in a suitcase.
He added: “The fact the suitcase was left under a running shower accelerated the decomposition.”
Back in the UK it emerged Foster-Smith had been jailed for 18 months in 2020 at Bournemouth Crown Court after stalking an ex and posting online.
After his release he began stalking another woman in her 40s by hanging around outside her workplace and engineering “chance” meetings with her in public.
Dorset Police publicly warned people not to approach him and call 999 if they saw him after he was charged with in September 2024, but he skipped bail and went on the run for a month.
The search was called off in October 2024 after he was tracked down to and arrested.
In October last year Foster-Smith was handed a new two year two month prison sentence at Bournemouth Crown Court.
Detective Constable Thomas Norman said at the time that his second victim “continued to live in fear” and her life had been “destroyed” by her convicted stalker’s behaviour.
The former doctor is understood to have been released on licence in January before travelling to over the summer.
CCTV footage obtained by local media is now in the hands of Colombian prosecutors and was published by TV news programme RCN Noticias.
