Chelsea Nets £20 Million Profit on Liam Delap After Just One Premier League Goal, Nottingham Forest Seals Club-Record Transfer

NOTTINGHAM FOREST have agreed a £50million deal for Chelsea exile Liam Delap.

The Blues striker bagged just ONE goal in the Premier League last season after his £30m move from Ipswich.

He was stripped of his No9 shirt this summer and has been training separately from new boss ‘s main group.

And yet the Blues are set to make a profit of at least £15m on the flop transfer.

Everton also expressed an interest in the forward.

But it’s Forest who have struck a deal for the former academy player, with £45m upfront and an extra £5m in add-ons.

The potential £50m deal smashes Forest’s previous record transfer, which was the £37.5m spent on Ipswich’s Omari Hutchison a year ago.
