According to Footmercato , a group of ultras awaited the squad's return to the training ground after their arrival.
It is reported that 400 supporters turned up to confront the team, with one fan boarding the team bus.
This individual demanded that the players disembark the coach to face their fans and issued threats if they did not comply.
The fan then allegedly became aggressive towards Boga, 28, and his teammate Terem Moffi.
The duo was subjected to kicks to the groin, and they were slapped and spat upon.
Moffi managed to escape, while Nice sporting director Florian Maurice was also struck before being escorted away by security.
Nice midfielder Sofiane Diop had already spoken to fans following the loss to Lorient, which marked their sixth consecutive defeat.
He stated: “We’re in a terrible situation right now, and we are aware of it. You travel thousands of kilometers for us.
“Do you think we don’t feel the pain of these results? We just lost to Lorient against a team that should be facing relegation.”
