CHELSEA are looking to hijack Inter Milan’s swoop for Marco Palestra, according to reports.

Palestra, 21, would fit the bill – having been named ‘s defender of the year last season.
The international spent the campaign on loan at Cagliari from Atalanta.
According to The Athletic , are a major contender to land Palestra’s highly coveted signature.
Inter had previously been in the driving seat for a deal worth £38.8million plus £4.3m in bonuses.
Palestra’s transfer saga is expected to conclude by the end of this week.
In addition to Chelsea, an unnamed Premier League side is also said to be in the mix.
The right wing-back played 16 times for Atalanta before being loaned to Cagliari 12 months ago.
He then featured in 37 games for Cagliari, scoring once and laying on four assists.
The youngster’s form saw him earn a maiden international call-up.
His first Italy start came in March, in their ill-fated World Cup play-off against Bosnia.
Chelsea sold full-back Marc Cucurella last week.
