CHELSEA is actively searching for their next manager following the dismissal of Enzo Maresca.
The Blues began December in 3rd place in the Premier League, but after securing only one victory last month, they have fallen out of the top four.

Maresca, aged 45, experienced a breakdown in his relationship with the club's management, leading to his removal from the role.
They must act swiftly to appoint a new manager before the remainder of the season.
SunSport has identified seven potential candidates who are in contention for the managerial position in West London.
Liam Rosenior
Similar to Maresca, Rosenior would join Chelsea without any prior Premier League managerial experience and is considered a frontrunner for the position.
He is currently making an impression at Strasbourg, where the French team is competing for a European spot.
Rosenior would be a relatively straightforward hire for the Blues, given that Clearlake also owns the Alsace club.
Cesc Fabregas
The former Chelsea midfielder has established a solid reputation in management since taking over at Como 1907.
The Spaniard successfully guided the club to promotion from Serie B to Italy's top flight for the first time in 21 years.
Como is now vying for European qualification, and Fabregas is regarded as one of the most promising managers in the top leagues.
Xavi
Xavi has been out of football management since his dismissal in 2024.
However, he remains highly respected, having led the LaLiga giants to a league title and Spanish Super Cup double in 2023, despite facing financial challenges.
Chelsea would be free to negotiate with Xavi, with no compensation required.

Oliver Glasner
Oliver Glasner has made a significant impact in the Premier League since joining in 2024.
He has led the Eagles to FA Cup and Community Shield victories during his brief tenure in South London.
The Austrian has been previously mentioned as a potential candidate for the managerial position at Manchester United if there were to be a change.

Marco Silva
A potential move for Silva could be challenging due to his current position at West London rivals.
The former Hull City manager has successfully brought the Cottagers back to the Premier League and helped stabilize their position.
Silva has long been considered for a top managerial role, and Chelsea could provide a significant opportunity.
