THIAGO SILVA’s son might turn down the opportunity to follow in his father's footsteps and become a legend for Brazil.

Silva has been playing for Brazilian club Fluminense since last year, while his son Iago remained in England to continue at the academy.
At just 14, he has already gained international recognition.
The young athlete shared on social media that he was invited to the most recent under-15 training camp.
A photo of him at St. George’s Park was captioned: “Proud moment to be invited to my first England camp. The hard work continues.”
Residency regulations permit players to represent countries they did not originate from if they have lived there for a minimum of three years, provided they moved before the age of 10, or five years if they relocated after turning 10.
Iago was under 10 when his father moved, and he has lived in England for five years since then.
The option to switch back to Brazil will remain unless Iago competes for England in a major tournament or accumulates more than three competitive appearances for the senior team.
Silva earned 113 caps for the Selecao, ranking fifth on their all-time caps list.
Despite his connections to Brazil, the seasoned defender has expressed his desire for both of his sons— Iago and Isago, another promising talent—to build their careers in England.
He remarked: “At every club I’ve been with, I’ve felt a lot of affection from the clubs and the fans, but here [at Chelsea] it feels a bit different because my kids are also part of the team.”
“For me, it would be a dream to see them play professionally at Chelsea.”
“I genuinely enjoy watching them play, and I do my best to support them. I love seeing my children on the field here.”
Isago, who is 16, is two years older than Iago and was recently recognized for his performance in the victory over Ajax.
