The home-based Super Eagles defeated Ojodu City 2-0 in a friendly in Ikenne, on Friday, DAILY POST reports.

Afeez Bankole, and Anthony Ijeoma got the goals for Eric Chelle’s side.

DAILY POST recalls, the Eagles recorded a 1-0 victory over reigning Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, champions, Remo Stars in their first friendly earlier this week.

The Eagles are intensifying preparation for the 2024 African Nations Championship billed to hold in Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda next month.

28 players are currently vying for position in the team.

Head coach Chelle is expected to release his final squad for the biennial competition next week.
