Goalkeeper, Ani Ozoemena, and Abdularafiu Taiwo returned to light training on Thursday as the home-based Super Eagles begin full preparations for the clash with Sudan.

Ozoemena missed Nigeria’s opening Group D encounter against Senegal at the 2024 African Nations Championship on Tuesday due to a knee problem.

The former Enyimba shot stopper could now return to action against the Sudanese.

Left-back Taiwo missed the team’s recovery session on Wednesday after picking a knock against Senegal.

The defender was replaced around the hour mark by Harrison Uzondu.

Eric Chelle’s side will take on Sudan at the Amman Stadium, Zanzibar next week Tuesday.
