Queens Park Rangers manager, Michael Beale has confirmed Leon Balogun is in contention to face Cardiff City in today’s Sky Bet Championship clash.
Balogun picked up a knock in QPR’s 3-1 defeat to Luton Town last Saturday.
The 33-year-old was replaced by Sierra Leone defender, Osman Kakay on 14 minutes.
There were fears the centre-back could be set for a spell on the sidelines, but Beale has revealed he is available for the visit of Cardiff City’s Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.
“Leon Balogun is fine, he is back to training and available for the game,” Beale told a press conference.
The experienced defender moved to QPR on a free transfer this summer.
He has made six league appearances for the club.
