Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has admitted that Declan Rice's free-kick was the turning point of their Champions League quarter-final first leg tie on Tuesday.
Rice fired in two free-kicks within 13 second-half minutes to send the Gunners on their way to a big win at the Emirates.
The hosts added a third through Mikel Merino's sweeping finish with 14 minutes left.
Ancelotti has now applauded Arsenal's performance and concede they were the better team on the night.
βThe result means that Arsenal were much better than us,β Ancelotti told Amazon Prime.
βThe game was a bit different.
βFor 60 minutes the game was level, and then they shoot two fantastic free-kicks. The game it changes.
βNow it will be very difficult in the second leg. But we have to try.
