Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag has singled out Ramus Hojlund for praise following his side’s elimination from the Champions League on Tuesday.
Ten Hag watched as Man United crashed out of the Champions League after losing 1-0 to Bayern Munich at home.
Speaking after the game, Ten Hag also sympathised with Hojlund after his tough night up against Bayern Munich’s defence.
“He scored five goals in the Champions League,” Ten Hag said in his post-match press conference.
“He has that, and he has to take this because it’s a huge performance from him. It also has to do with our attacking in those games.
“He has to build on this into the Premier League. That is very good but today he did not create many chances but he faced a very good opponent.”
