POLICE have released a CCTV image of a man after a bus passenger was attacked.
Emergency services were reported of an on the 610 bus in Wigan at around 2.20pm on February 15.
The 18-year-old male victim was at the bus when he was attacked by a man.
The teen was jumped on before being punched and kicked to the head.
Paramedics arrived to the scene and gave the boy CPR after he had lost conciousness.
He was taken to hospital and remains in a stable condition.
Greater Police have released a CCTV image of a man who can assist them in their ongoing enquiries.
They are calling for anyone with information about the attack to call them on 101 and quote Log: 1683-15/02/2026.
A force statement read: “Officers believe that this man can assist them in their enquires in to a serious that has taken place on a Greater Manchester Bus – Bus number: 3559 – Route 610 (Leigh to Wigan Route) around 2.20pm today (Sunday 15 February).
“The victim, aged 18, was sat at the back of the bus and the person reported to have assaulted him was on the seat in front.
“It is reported that the victim was jumped on and then punched and kicked in the head, resulting in him loosing consciousness.
“Paramedics preformed CPR on the who now remains in hospital in a stable condition.
“It is believed the victim and his attacker have got on the bus at 2:14pm from stand L at Leigh bus station, the attacker is believed to of got off the bus on Newton Road at 2:24pm.
