The Brazilian midfield enforcer delivered a stunning man-of-the-match display as United tightening their grip on third in the Premier League and edging closer to UEFA qualification.
Casemiro set the tone early, powering home a header after just 11 minutes.
But it was his all-action performance that truly stole the show.
The 34-year-old racked up a staggering 11 tackles, won 16 duels and made nine clearances, becoming the only player in the last two decades to hit all three of those numbers in a single Premier League match.
It marked another high point in what is shaping up to be an emotional farewell.
Back in February, Casemiro confirmed he will leave United when his contract expires this summer.

As he walked off the pitch to a standing ovation, the former star struggled to contain his emotions, clearly moved by the love from the Old Trafford faithful.

Speaking afterwards, Casemiro admitted the connection he feels at United has taken him by surprise.
He said : “I spent most of my career in Spain playing for Real Madrid, where I won many trophies.
“But here, in just a few seasons at , I’ve felt something different, something deep enough to make a grown man cry.
“At Real Madrid, winning trophies was incredible. But here, even a single victory feels just as significant, like lifting a trophy in its own right.
“That connection with the fans… it’s powerful enough to move a grown man. That’s why I couldn’t hold back my tears.”
His recent form has even sparked calls from supporters for a dramatic
But interim boss insists the decision is already made.
Carrick said: “It’s pretty clear, from both sides, it’s pretty clear.
“It also shows how much it means to him. The clarity has helped everyone understand the situation.
“Credit to him, he’s given absolutely everything and had some big moments for us.”
In a bid to replace Casemiro and others, SunSport understands that Manchester United have to discuss the sale of players in the summer.
United officials intend to provide clarity on certain players’ futures to pave the way for smooth departures.
Those expected to be on the discussion table include Andre Onana and Marcus Rashford, as well as potential targets to replace the departing Casemiro.
