THIS is the shocking moment a speeding car crashes head-on with a taxi driver after driving the wrong way through a underpass.
The terrifying hit-and-run collision between the reckless silver saloon and a black Vito was caught on the dashcam of another driver.

The taxi was travelling on the inside lane of the 40mph Fore Street Tunnel underpass on the A406 North Circular in Edmonton, North , when the saloon careered into it.
The reckless driver was seen flashing his headlights at the cabbie, who swerved to avoid the collision, alongside a silver SUV that was travelling on the outside lane.
Slamming on the brakes to try and avoid the crash, the Mercedes was shunted into the vehicle travelling behind it, which recorded the horror crash, while the dangerous driver sped off.
The cabbie was seen opening the door of his vehicle as the dashcam driver and a silver Transit pulled over to assist him.
Reacting to the shocking footage, one local said: “The driver’s late swerve likely reduced the impact, but in a tunnel, there’s no escape route, and the collision is heavy.”
They urged anyone with information to contact the police, adding: “This is why wrong-way driving is so feared, there’s nowhere to go.”

Elsewhere, Steve Hodge, from nearby Woodford Green and a taxi driver of over four decades, described the smash, which took place at 3.08am on July 9, as “scary”.
The Sun approached The Met and London Ambulance Service for comment.
