CAMILA GIORGI plans to return to tennis in 2027.
The Italian, 34, has not played a professional tournament since the 2024 Miami Open.

Giorgi officially later that year amid accusations of tax evasion and avoiding rent payments.
The former quarter-finalist took part in a Q&A with fans on Instagram this week.
Asked “Will you come back to tournament in the future?” she said: “Yes, in 2027.”
Then quizzed more specifically if she will play, Giorgi mysteriously repeated: “Yes, in 2027.”
The former world No26 moved to the US following her retirement after being accused of owing six months rent of rent at a villa near Florence.
It was even alleged that she was trying to , something she denied.
Appearing on Italian chat show Verissimo in October 2024, she said: “It was not an escape. I moved to America permanently with my parents.”
She also claimed that tax evasion allegations had stemmed from the actions of her former lawyer, rather than herself.

Giorgi added: “The problems with the tax authorities? My family did not know about them. They were created by outside people who managed me.”
Since hanging up her racquet, Giorgi married Argentine tennis coach Andreas Ignacio Pasutti.
The pair wed in Buenos Aires on February 26 this year, with Giorgi subsequently revealing that she was pregnant by posting a short clip of an ultrasound to her Instagram story.
Asked at the time if she could return to the WTA Tour as a mother, Giorgi teased: “Never say never.”
She has since revealed that she and her husband are expecting a boy.
Even prior to her tennis retirement, Giorgi took a keen interest in fashion and modelling.
The former Canadian Open champion has modelled lingerie, while she also last year.
Giorgi worked on the ground at the Buenos Aires Open in February 2025, interviewing players on site.
