Rivers United General Manager, Okey Kpalukwu, has cautioned his team against underestimating FS Les Aigles du Congo ahead of their CAF Champions League first round second leg match.

Rivers United held FS Les Aigles to a goalless draw in the first leg tie in Kinshasa last week.

The Pride of Rivers will trade tackles with the Samurai in the reverse fixture at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo, on Sunday.

Kpalukwu emphasized the need for hard work and focus.

“We worked hard and got a draw in Kinshasa,” Kpalukwu began in his address to the players.

“We can’t take them for granted. We have to work hard and ensure we put in our best. What we want is to win, and we are the ones who have to score.”

Rivers United need a win to progress to the next round of the competition.
