Libyan clubs, Al Akhdar and Al Nasr will arrive Nigeria for this weekend’s CAF Confederation Cup fixtures against Nigerian sides, Plateau United and Rivers United aboard the same chartered aircraft.
Al Nasr will face Nigeria Professional Football League champions, Rivers United in the first leg of their playoff tie at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt on Sunday.
Plateau United will host Al Akhdar at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja also on Sunday.
DAILY POST learnt that the chartered aircraft will drop the Al Akhdar delegation in Abuja, before proceeding to Port Harcourt.
The reverse fixtures will take place on November 9.
The overall winners will proceed to the money-spinning group stage of the competition.
