MICHAEL CARRICK led Manchester United stars back home after they were routed by Como.
‘s side will have to deal with ANOTHER inquest after a humiliating 4-1 defeat in .

The players were pictured returning to Manchester as their sombre mood showed through in rainy scenes as they drove out of the airport.
Carrick, now seemingly on borrowed time at after even club captain in the Como clash, was one of the first to leave the airport in his Land Rover Defender.
The 45-year-old appeared glum after apologising to the travelling United supporters and slamming his players for their lack of running – the team rank 17th out of Prem clubs for sprints and 19th for total distance covered.
His coaching staff, including Steve Holland, matched the mood as the squad left the airport at around 12:30am.
CEO Omar Berrada was also spotted, sat facing backwards in a van – an ironic sight given the club have also gone backwards under his stewardship.
Fernandes, 32, was one of the last players to leave the airport in his GT, leaving with his sun visor down covering all but his frown in the pictures.
copied his team-mate alongside by putting down the visor in the middle of the night.
Elsewhere, the likes of , , , , and last night’s goalscorer were all seen down in the dumps too.

And there isn’t much to smile about, United are winless in seven games for the first time since 2015 after all.
Carrick ignoring his players on the pitch and walking over to the few fans that remained after the side dismantled his Red Devils was against Watford – also a 4-1 defeat – before he was sacked.
The former midfielder said: “I always go to the fans anyway regarding this. It wasn’t a particularly different kind of reason why I went over.
“I think it’s the appreciation and the acknowledgement of what they’ve gone through, and they have done over a few weeks now, but particularly tonight.

“I think as I said I was one of them, I’m feeling the same as them, for them to make the effort and spend the money and come and hope for something.
“We’ve got a lot of values in this club and what we represent and how we want to go about it.
“We might win, we might lose, but the way we went about it tonight, I wouldn’t say everyone but the way we went about it in some ways tonight was unacceptable, and I have got to let the fans know that.”
He added: “First of all, I have to apologise to the supporters. I went over at the end. I care about this football club as much as anyone, if not more.

“I know the position that I’m in, that I value this football club. For us to play in that way, it’s not acceptable. It wasn’t a good performance at all.
“We wanted to build on what we brought to Leeds and the performance that we had at Leeds.
“That bit of intensity, that aggression, that real willingness to give everything tonight was totally the opposite of the performance. I have to say it was tough to watch.”
United travel to Bournemouth at the weekend where you imagine things can’t get much worse, yet over the last two years the club managed to hit new lows at an almost impressive rate.
