Volunteers say he often gets “overlooked” because his grey snout makes him look much older than his five years.
Milo was transferred to Trust Evesham, , in 2023 aged just two years old but despite lots of people seeing him, he is yet to find his forever home.
Shelter manager Chris Slight says his “hang dog” appearance has put off several potential new owners.
He said: “Milo is such a lovely boy, and while he hasn’t had much interest yet, we know the right home is out there for him.

“Although he’s only five years old, he is quite grey around the face, which can make him appear older and sadly means he may be overlooked.”
When Milo first arrived at the , he was defensive over food and toys but he has made leaps and bounds through resource guarding training.
His previous owner had struggled to care for him so gave him away to the Dog’s Trust to find a new home.
Chris added: “He has made fantastic progress with his training.
“He will still need owners who understand his needs and are committed to continuing his management and training, including providing him with his own room while eating, where he can feel secure and continue building on this progress.
“He currently has quite sore hips and takes medication to keep comfortable.
“He previously struggled with being left home alone, so he’s looking for a family who can be around most of the time initially while he settles in.
“Despite all of this, he is an incredibly special dog with so much love to give, and we know that with the right people behind him, he will make a perfect addition to a family.”
“Milo is such a character and brings so much joy to everyone he meets.
“With the right active home and a little patience, he’ll make a wonderfully loyal and fun companion.
“He’s been in our care for far too long now, and the team are really hoping he meets the right adopters soon.”
