A BRIT tourist has died after plunging down a stairwell at his holiday apartment complex in Tenerife.
The 24-year-old reportedly fell to his death at around 5.30am after returning from a festival with a friend in the popular resort of Playa de las Americas.

The victim is understood to have been on the second floor when he fell “face first” down the stairwell.
Emergency responders quickly raced to the apartment block in Avenida Rafael Puig Lluvina after.
They found the Brit on the ground as he was declared dead at the scene.
Police say he attended an electronic music festival in nearby Costa Adeje earlier the same day with a friend.
Investigators are probing the theory the man woke up during the night and left his fourth-floor apartment alone for an unknown reason.
He walked down two flights of stairs before falling over and ultimately suffering life-ending injuries.
A post-mortem is underway to reveal if the Brit had alcohol or drugs in his system at the time of his death.
A local investigating court has been placed in charge of an ongoing investigation.
There is no suspicion of foul play.
