Brit tourist fighting for life after collapsing while swimming in hotel pool on Greek island hols

A BRIT tourist is fighting for his life after collapsing in a swimming pool while on holiday in Greece.

The 77-year-old passed out while having a dip in the hotel pool on the island of Crete, forcing the lifeguard to spring into action.

The lifeguard gave the Brit first aid and managed to bring him back to life at the hotel in isle capital Heraklion, reports Cretaone.

An ambulance arrived and rushed the gravely ill holidaymaker to Venizelio Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition in the intensive car unit.
